Julia Zenko’s first recording dates back to 1983. It was released under the name of VITAL and received the “Prensario” award as the outstanding revelation of the year. So far, she recorded more than 10 records as a soloist and many others as co singer and acted in movies, soap operas and commercials. She is considered one of the best argentine interpreters and shared the stage with Mercedes Sosa, Charly García, Raúl Lavié, León Gieco, Teresa Parodi, Nito Mestre, David Lebón, Pedro Aznar, José Angel Trelles, Jairo, Alejandro Dolina, Chico Novarro, Susana Moncayo, Lito Vitale, J.C. Baglietto, etc. In 1997, in Austria, she recorded the little Opera “María of Buenos Aires” by Ferrer and Piazzolla accompanied by one of the greatest violinists of classical music, Gidón Kremer. From that moment on, she visited many countries where she took tango music with her. She performed three times in Japan. The first, with Lito Vitale and Daniel García. The second with Gidón Kremer and the last with cello player Yo-Yo Ma, while touring different cities.

Turkey, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Greece, Canada, Holland, and Austria are some of the countries where she could be heard.

In 2005 and 2006 Julia starred María de Buenos Aires at the Komische Oper in Berlín. She performed in concerts in Norway next to local musicians such as Per Arne Glorvigen on the bandoneon, Atle Sponberg on the violín and Sverre Indris Joner on the piano. Her first tour, in May 2008 took her to Oslo, Athens and Berlín under the direction of the Chamber Orchestra of Oslo.

Actress Julia Zenko studied under Agustín Alezzo, Augusto Fernández and Luis Agustoni. She starred several musical plays such as "Sin Compasión" (Non compassionate ) with Raúl Lavié, "El show de las divorciadas" (The show of divorced women), "Zorba, el Griego" (Zorba, the Greek) with Lavié, directed by Helena Tritek, "Amanecí y tú no estabas" (I woke up and you were not) with María José Gabin, directed by Alicia Zanca, "Orestes, último tango" (Orestes, the last tango) by Betty Gambartes and Diego Vila, which was performed in Holland and Argentina with Carlos Vittori, Susana Moncayo and Rodolfo Valss. On television, she played at "Gran Hotel Casino" with Juan Carlos Mesa, Claribel Medina, Carlos March and led a TV program for children with texts and songs by María Elena Walsh known as "Los Requetepillos", ( the re-re-roguish boys) directed by María Herminia Avellaneda, together with Carola Reyna, Claudio Gallardou, Claudio Da Passano, Rita Terranova and others.

In 2008 she successfully replayed María de Buenos Aires at the Teatro Nacional Cervantes together with Horacio Ferrer and Guillermo Fernández, directed by Marcelo Lombardero, choreography by Oscar Araiz and musical direction by Pepe Carli and Nestor Marconi.

She received several awards such as the Konex, Ace, Festbuga in Colombia, Grammy & Grammy Latino apart from other numerous recognitions for her participation in demonstrations against discrimination and in favor of human rights during many years.

In her last CD called "Vida Mía", (Life of my life) with arrangements of Sonia Possetti, she sings a variety of tangos and her daughters Laura Gonzalez and Elis García accompany her in two of her compositions.

He studied music, singing and piano at the “Carlos Lopéz Buchardo" National Conservatory of Music and at the “Manuel de Falla” Municipal Conservatory. He took singing lessons with Ana Sirulnik, Daniel Suarez Marsal and Inés Cabrera.

He studied dancing with Moira Chapman, Rubén Cuello, Mecha Fernández and Darío Petruzzio; tap dancing with Ana Padilla, and acting with Augusto Fernández, Lito Cruz and Luis Romero. His musical show repertoire includes: "La mujer del año", ( The woman of the year); he co-starred in "Annie", and in "Happy End" by Bertold Brench; in "Gotán, with Susana Rinaldi and Raúl Lavié "; he starred "Tus besos fueron míos" (Your kisses were mine) by Betty Gambartes,; replaced Victor Laplace in "Mi bella dama" (My fair lady) with Paola Krum; he also starred in "Fiebre de sábado por la noche" (Saturday night fever), among others.

He performed in dozens of national and international shows with Valeria Lynch at venues such as "Carnegie Hall" in New York, the "James Knight Center" in Miami and the "Dessert Inn" of Las Vegas. He toured Latin America with Rocío Jurado.

He’s been a song, repertoire and interpretation professor for the last ten years as well as voice consultant in several shows.
